 Great Lakes Helicopter is a Transport Canada approved, Private Career College Flight Training School and Charter company. Our operation is based at the Region of Waterloo International Airport, in the heart of Southern Ontario, along the banks of the beautiful Grand River.
Managed and operated by reliable professionals, Great Lakes Helicopter has flourished into a successful helicopter operation. We pride ourselves on our safe, professional staff and well maintained helicopters.
Flight Instructors Nick Booth, Tiffany Hanna and Adam Tastula, bring with them a sense of safety and dedicated that is unsurpassed. Tiffany Hanna is our full-time Ground School Instructor and Pilot. Gary McMahon is our full-time Charter Pilot.
Our helicopters are serviced by Rotor Services Limited - also located at the Region of Waterloo Airport. Rotor Services has been servicing the helicopter industry for the past 21 years. Bill Leyburne, president and owner of both Great Lakes Helicopter and Rotor Services, has over 28 years experience and knowledge in maintaining quality aircraft.
Currently, we offer a fleet that consists of three Robinson R22's, a Robinson R44 and Bell 206 Jet Ranger helicopter, which allow us to perform a wide variety of operations to suit most people’s needs.

Today, HTSC is one of the largest and most diverse helicopter operations in Canada, with bases located over a wide geographic area throughout the country and an assorted fleet of helicopters that range from the light R-22 to the heavy S-61N.
HTSC is also an authorized dealer and/or authorized maintenance facility for Bell Helicopters, Schweizer, Eurocopter, Robinson and MD Helicopters. |
