 BC Helicopters was incorporated in 1992. Our primary focus is helicopter flight training. We are also an operational Charter Company and we operate an Aircraft Maintenance Organization so our students learn and observe in a practical and operational environment. Our Schweizer 300CBi's are employed in photography, long line slinging, spraying and gas pipeline patrolling.
In 2001 we switched to the 300CBi as our primary trainer. This aircraft's flight characteristics and safety record make it the best training helicopter available. As an operational trainer it has the power and performance to challenge the student with landings up to the very top of our local mountains. Also the fully articulated 3 bladed rotor system simulates flight characteristics of the today's modern charter aircraft like the Eurocopter A-Stars and the Bell 407 |

Tech Helicopters Pilot Training School has been operating in the Prince George Area since 1996. Though primarily a flight training school we also take-on Charters and Contract work.
Tech Helicopters Ltd. is situated approximately 15 minutes from the Prince George Airport on 310 acres. This large location ensures that our students can train in an environment that has minimal distractions allowing them to get comfortable with the aircraft before venturing into the Airport Control Zone. The surrounding areas are also used in the helicopter training lessons for navigation and cross-country flights. The Prince George Airport provides the environment for Radio procedures and circuit training. |

Recognizing a need for the same disciplined approach for helicopter operational training, in the year 2000 Mr. John Morris of Omega and Mr. John Montgomery of Professional IFR officially joined forces and purchased an IFR/VFR Robinson R22 and founded Professional Helicopter Training Ltd. We have found the R22 to be an excellent trainer in all aspects of our helicopter training syllabus. |
